housed an important species at the global level (191 species, 44 of
them breeding on the islands, with 85 of them regularly migrate),
including some endangered by extinction. The marine life in Socotra
has the great diversity, with the presence of 253 species of coral
reefs, and 730 species of coastal fish and 300 species of crabs,
lobster and shrimp.
